First Day of School

This is my oldest on his first day of school. He was excited, but you can't tell. He sure is handsome, isn't he.

My Wild Streak

This summer my hubby's niece and her friend wanted to put some pink streaks in their hair and I oblidged. I in turn got the bug and put one in my hair. It was ok, but I put it too far back on my head. If I did it again I think I would put it closer to my face. It was fun while it lasted.

Shower Time

My baby girl likes to get in the shower with me, this day she snuck in after I turned the water on. I went to get her after I was ready to get in and heard her already in and having a good time!

Lets Eat!

During our week long stay with my Grandparents, we did many things and among those things, we ate! Here are some of the things my kids enjoyed eating:

My oldest enjoyed the cherries. My baby enjoyed her whole tomato, and peach. She was so cute, she wanted to get in on the action of making fresh salsa, but decided she had better take a few bites out of a few tomatoes before they were added in to something that was to hot for her to eat. She calls anything round a ball, including food. She climbed up on the table, reaching for the tomato, or the peach, saying "ball, ball!" Then supprised us all by taking a huge bite out of the tomato and continued to eat it.

I got very lucky, my kids love their fruits and veggies.

Reunioning Fuentes Style

One of my favorite times of the year are family reunions. I love seeing all of our extended family. The Fuentes Family Reunion is held every summer, usually the first weekend of August, but it was moved to the weekend of the 18th of July because of the early start of school where we live. This reunion is my Grandmother's Father's side of the family. It is held at the Head of the Ditch in Luna.

Here are a few pics, I needed to get more of everyone else, but we got there just in time to eat. Then it started raining, during the family auction, and we couldn't hear a thing. So we went to my Grandparents house to let the kids run and have fun.

Reunioning - Costner Style

We kicked off the begininning of the summer with the Costner reunion. It was a lot of fun, we all enjoyed ourselves, thanks to Carla and all her hard work getting us organized. Here are a few pics for your viewing pleasure. :)

I just thought this was the funniest thing. Uncle Mike picking cherries during a downpour. He really wanted those cherries and something like a little rain wasn't going to stop him.
