Zach The Seer

Funny things children say in their innocence are said at time to be true. Zach, yesterday evening, was asked yet again by John, if mommy was having a baby girl or a baby boy. He said a girl. Is she having a baby boy or a baby girl? Notice the order they are asked in, but once again he said a girl. He frequently asks when his sister will be here so he can play with her, throughout he has been quite consistent that we are having a girl. Well along with all the girl answers he also said that mommy will have a girl first then a boy. No, I am not having twins, but our interpretation of said news, was that this baby will be a girl and the next baby will be a boy. Mind you all of this is coming from the innocence of a 3 1/2 yr old, which I believe the veil is still thin for. I guess the only sure way to know is to test it out. Our ultrasound is next Monday, and because of Zach's little prophecies I am quite anxious to know if he's right. I sure hope he is :)

Company Christmas Party

If there ever was a car lover, I'm sure this would be close to heaven for them. The company that John works for is hosting the company Christmas party at the Marconi Automotive Museum in Orange County, California. Can you say exciting!! John works his but off for this company, and we get to see the benifits more and more as time goes on. They are flying us (John and I) out to Cali and putting us up in a hotel for a night. I guess they give out rewards for performance as well, and his boss recomended him for one, I hope he gets it! Anyway, I'm excited just to have a night off from being mom and enjoying an evening with John, even if we won't know half the people there.

*bleh*

I am feeling better, I am not getting nauseous much anymore, but with all the stress my two munchkins cause, I get lots and lots of headaches. I try not to think to much about the anti-E thing 'cause it just depresses me. I am keeping quite busy though. Kaleb, my youngest, just turned two on the second, we had a very small get together at his Nana and Papa's house. I really don't think he missed out on much by me not throwing a party for him, and I know I avoided a huge headache. This is my week to teach Joy School, and I have been asked to teach a 30-45 min. class on caring for your hair on Thurs. for Enrichment. ~overload~ Thankfully today is over. mostly. Just two more tasks ahead and I can relax for a little. I am so grateful for the women I have found to trade kid swapping with. One takes them on Mon. for a few hours and another on Wed. and I take their kids on Fri. So I have a few hours of peace, so I can get things done. Although sometimes that time is taken up by someones hair apt. but those days are best to do perms, it goes a lot quicker without the boys under my feet and fighting the whole time. Anyway I think this was a good vent session, I'm sure there will be more to come, so till later...

Tag You're It!!

Well lets see, list six things about myself...
...this could be really hard but I'll give it a shot.

cleaning If I could hire a maid I would, call me lazy if you want, I don't care, but I really despise cleaning... Why you ask, well I think mostly because my two beautiful and busy boys destroy everything as soon as I clean it, so why do it at all? Don't get me wrong I do clean, it just doesn't stay that way for long.

eating If I could eat out every day I think I would be set for life, not at fast food, but at sit down restaurants. I love to eat out, it just feels nice not to cook and the food is usually fantastic! and I always have leftovers for lunch the next day. I do like to cook, although with two boys under my feet it kinda takes away from the joy I used to get from it. You see I don't like to cook simple meals, I like to cook gourmet, with all the seasoning and spices, on a low budget mind you. I think I would love to go to culinary school, but not anytime soon.

sleeping oh how I love my sleep, If only my boys would love it as much as I. *sigh* I am a person who needs at least eight hours of sleep, or else I am one grumpy momma who sits around all day and has no fun and doesn't want to do anything... now that's no fun is it?

hobbies I have too many hobbies. I like to scrapbook, I have way too much stuff, and not enough time. I like to bead, you know make jewelry, and again too much stuff and not enough time, and I usually give all the stuff I make away so I have nothing to show for it but the stuff to ugly to give. I bake and decorate cakes, but I only do it on special occasions. My siblings are lucky I got married first, because I bought all the stuff for my own cake, and in turn made all of their cakes for their receptions. I like to sew, but I only drag out the machine when necessary, like to hem the missionaries pants and help my sister with her girls costumes and blessing dresses. I do like to cut hair, but it has become more necessity than hobby, but I still enjoy it as long as the person isn't to demanding or indecisive.

movies I love love love to go out to see good movies in the theater. I also love to build my personal family theater. One of our friends calls us blockbuster because we have so many movies and I am always buying more. They like to come and borrow movies from us, maybe I should start charging :P. I think if I were to have a vice buying movies would be it.

family I love my family. I love going home to visit my parents, I love going to visit my brothers and sisters, and I wish I could visit those that live the furthest away that I haven't gotten to . Right now the only reason we travel is for reunions and baby blessings, which isn't too bad. Someday I'll be able to visit those without children, before they move again.

OK I think that's it, I would tag someone else if I had anyone to tag that hadn't already been tagged.

Anti E WHAT?!?

So yesterday was my first ultrasound, and the baby looked great, it even jumped a little for us, and the heart beat looked good too. During the Dr. appt my dr. pretty much just followed up on all the tests and blood work that was done. Everything looks great except that I have low traces of the Rh E antibody otherwise known as anti-E. Anti WHAT? I had never heard of such a thing, apparently because my Rh is positive (blood type B+) it is very rare. You can only get it through a blood transfusion or from your baby during the birthing process. It happens when your blood crosses. Since I have low levels of this thing it should be ok, but if the levels get higher it could be very dangerous for the baby, because the antibobies will start attacking the babies blood and the baby will have to have an inutero blood transfusion. The only way to know if the baby is safe or in danger is to do monthly blood tests, and more frequent ultrasounds and possibly do an amniotic fluid test. It is all a bit crazy, I tend to get weird things when I'm pregnant, I guess I also have a tilted uterus, but that should correct itself by the end of the first trimester and if it doesn't then it could cause complications at delivery. Then there's the old gestational diabetes, which I have had every pregnancy, and the toxemia which I had with my first, and could possibly get with following pregnancies. So yeah, I don't know what to think. My thoughts already have led me to think that by blood could kill my unborn child, and that is really heart breaking. Anyway pray for me and my baby and hope that God lets me keep this baby, healthy and happy.

what I want for Christmas

what I want for Christmas is a nice digital camera and a port or whatever they are, maybe even one of those picture printers, that would be great. I am just so tired of missing great picture opportunities and esp with my boys growing bigger every day. It also would be nice to choose what pictures to print and which are worth keeping and downloading.

Anywho...

I sure am glad for Fridays! Usually John and I go out, but tonight we are going to a birthday party. Some friends of ours second adopted is having her first birthday!! She is so cute, I wish I had that camera then I could show you, but you'll have to take my word for it, for now. They have been lucky, both of their kids come from the same mother, so they are brother and sister. Well my boys have found me and are creating a big scene so I need to take care of them.

TTFN

I hope everyone enjoys General Conference

Chandler Art Walk

so tonight I went and saw my sister Carla sing with her band (random numbers) at the Chandler Art Walk. They did pretty good. There really was nowhere to sit, but an empty fountain of some sort, but they had a little crowd. I wish I would have taken my video camera, but I hadn't thought about it 'till I got there. Afterward we went and ate at Pita Jungle, they had a large offering of Greek food or forms of it. We all tried their hummus, it was pretty good, then Alisha and I split a pita pizza. It also was good, but I only had one slice, I think I filled up on the hummus and pita bread and my drink. Oh well more for tomorrow, right!
