So in my feeble attempt to read the instructions clearly, I set the oven temp 100 degrees higher than it should have been. So I had very burnt cookies very fast.
Thankfully my second attempt came out much better!
My house smelled like burnt cookies all night. *bleh*

We should start a baking disasters blog together! :)
hah! that would be funny, totally tongue-in-cheek. I tried out your recipie, and I really blew it!
clarification: the cooking disasters blog would be "I tried out your recipie and totally blew it" just in case the first comment I made was confusing.
or how about "boiling water 101"? sorry your first batch didnt turn out. the second looks yummy though :)
...or "pan-demonium", or "out of the pan and into the fire" or "ohwa tacu cam eye"(said 3 times fast :)
